The owner
Built on the part others skip
Noah has spent years working West Michigan concrete, and it taught him one thing: a finish is only ever as good as the surface beneath it. He started OBPS after watching too many floors and pools fail early for the same reason — someone skipped the prep. So prep became the whole point. Every job starts with a grind or a scrub that most crews rush, because that is the step that decides whether a coating lasts two years or twenty.

Why preparation wins
A coating is only a few millimeters thick. It cannot fix a floor it cannot bond to, and it cannot hide a surface that was never cleaned. When epoxy peels or pool paint blisters, the failure almost always started underneath, on a day someone decided the prep was good enough.
We do not work that way. The grinding, the shot blasting, the acid washing, the hand scrubbing of every corner a machine cannot reach, that is the part of the job we are known for. The finish is just the proof.
Over more than 10 years and 2,000-plus completed jobs, that discipline is what has kept our coatings bonded and our customers calling us back.
